Lianqi
Lianqi Qiu (b.1998)
She focuses on logical abstraction as a narrative expression of the emotions of the times, using the media of installation, video and painting to explore identities that can "cross borders" within the discipline of optical processes, automatized mechanics and high energy physics. She currently studies in the Department of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Her works have been exhibited at the AI PLAZA video section of the Westbund Art&Design Fair, the Contemporary Art Foundation in Beijing, the Contemporary Art Fair in Beijing, the Luo Zhongli Art Museum, the Lí Gallery and the Coutts Art Centre, as well as during her residency at the Swatch Peace Hotel Art Centre. She participated in the research project of the Ministry of Education on the use of physical interaction in public environmental art and the research of TUI-based interactive urban public art design.
